Energy cost calculations only make sense when the underlying data is precise and complete. Inaccurate tariff resolution or incomplete visibility into meters and devices can lead to distorted reporting, difficult audits and extra manual work for energy teams. At the same time, EU regulations are placing clearer requirements on how energy data must be calculated, secured and managed.
This Spacewell Energy release focuses on practical improvements in these areas. It introduces support for EU 15-minute energy tariff pricing, a centralised overview of devices across energy portfolios and continued progress toward compliance with the EU Cyber Resilience Act.
Centralised Energy Device Management Across Multiple Locations
FManaging meters and energy devices across multiple buildings often means switching between locations, lists or systems to find the right information. This can slow down everyday tasks such as maintenance planning, troubleshooting or portfolio reviews, especially when portfolios grow over time.
With this release, Spacewell Energy introduces a centralised device list that shows all devices across all locations in one view. Energy users can search and review devices without navigating site by site.
This update supports clearer oversight of meters and devices across distributed portfolios and provides a more structured way to manage energy assets at scale.

EU 15-Minute Energy Tariff Compliance
Energy prices in the EU are increasingly calculated at shorter time intervals. From October 1st, regulations require energy price calculations to be based on 15-minute intervals, aligning cost calculations with how energy is traded and billed.
Spacewell Energy now fully supports this requirement. The cost module has been updated to enable:
- Tariff simulation at 15-minute resolution
- Higher-resolution energy cost calculations
- Automatic updates for all indexed energy prices
All relevant tariff configurations were updated automatically. Existing customers did not need to take any action.

Preparing for the EU Cyber Resilience Act in Energy Software
Energy management platforms are part of operational infrastructure and are increasingly subject to security and resilience requirements. The EU Cyber Resilience Act introduces new expectations for how digital products manage vulnerabilities, updates and overall security.
Spacewell Energy is already built with security as a core principle. Current work across the Energy teams focuses on further strengthening this foundation to align early with the Cyber Resilience Act ahead of its expected application in mid-2026. This includes vulnerability management, environment hardening and continuous security improvements across the platform.
These enhancements ensure the platform remains robust, secure and aligned with upcoming EU regulatory requirements.
Supporting Accurate Energy Cost Calculation and Portfolio Oversight
Accurate tariff resolution and clear device visibility form the foundation of reliable energy management. Without these basics in place, reporting becomes harder to trust and operational tasks require unnecessary manual effort.
By supporting 15-minute tariff pricing, providing a portfolio-wide device overview and advancing security readiness, this release strengthens the core capabilities needed for day-to-day energy management across complex portfolios.
Looking Ahead
These updates focus on accuracy, clarity and regulatory alignment in energy management. With support for EU 15-minute tariff compliance, improved portfolio device management and continued progress toward Cyber Resilience Act requirements, Spacewell Energy continues to evolve in line with real operational and regulatory needs.
