Spacewell Workplace has officially been certified by the AIVD as a secure software supplier for all Dutch government institutions. Spacewell is the first and, to date, the only IWMS software provider to receive this recognition – an important confirmation of the high security standards on which our software is built.
The AIVD is responsible for national security, both physical and digital, and for this purpose has developed the Baseline Security Product Assessment (BSPA). This BSPA assessment evaluates hardware and software products used within the government on critical security aspects such as installation and implementation, compliance, vulnerability testing, and usability.
Over the course of several weeks, Spacewell Workplace was thoroughly evaluated to determine whether the product meets the strict standards set by the AIVD. After a careful review process, Spacewell Workplace was designated as a secure software supplier. Certification by the national authority for digital security confirms the reliability of Spacewell’s security framework and the close integration of these security principles into our product development process.
Spacewell in the Public Administration
Spacewell already provides services to several public administrations in the Netherlands and Belgium. In fact, this recognition arrives during the implementation of the Workplace Management System within the Dutch Government.
The BSPA certification strengthens cooperation with Dutch authorities that place high value on digital security and reliable workplace software solutions. Although the certification was specifically developed for government applications, it also provides private organizations with independent confirmation of Spacewell’s high security standards.
