Spacewell aims to operate in a socially responsible manner and contribute to sustainable development, in line with the International Standard ISO 26000 Guidance on Social Responsibility.
To promote ethics, integrity, and trust, The Nemetschek Group has defined standards for day-to-day business in its Code of Conduct, which specifies the duties for employees, including the protection of natural resources, provisions for anti-corruption, and the obligation to refrain from all forms of discrimination.

50 Sustainability & Climate Leaders initiative
Climate change is the defining issue of our time. The Nemetschek Group is one of the ‘50 Sustainability & Climate Leaders’ nominated by the United Nations, demonstrating best practices and positive climate action.
A Spacewell forest to inspire commitment to planet Earth
We are happy to support Treedom, an organization that combines environmental projects with social engagement in developing countries. Planting trees helps in absorbing the greenhouse gas CO2 from the atmosphere and counteracting environmental damage, deforestation, and soil erosion.
At the start of 2021, all Spacewell employees were invited to adopt their own tree. This way, Spacewell and other Nemetschek Group brands are planting a virtual company forest with a total of more than 2,000 trees. Each tree is photographed, geo-localized, and displayed on its own profile page. This involves our people in a playful way, engages them emotionally, and – through regular updates – reminds them of our organization’s sustainability commitment in the long term.
