Spacewell Workplace has been certified by the General Intelligence and Security Services in the Netherlands (AIVD) as a secure software supplier for all Dutch Government Agencies.
The AIVD focuses on guaranteeing security within the Netherlands, including digital and security threats, and they have developed the Baseline Security Product Assessment (BSPA) to evaluate hardware and software products intended for government use.
The assessment includes testing for security aspects such as product installation and deployment, compliance analysis, vulnerability testing, and usability. Over several weeks, Spacewell Workplace has been evaluated to ensure conformity with AIVD’s standards.
After the evaluation process, Spacewell Workplace has been considered a secure software provider, becoming the first software company to obtain this Government certification. Recognition by the national authority responsible for digital security confirms the reliability of Spacewell’s security framework and its integration into product development.
Spacewell in the Public Administration
Spacewell already provides services to several public administrations in the Netherlands and Belgium. In fact, this recognition arrives during the implementation of the Workplace Management System within the Dutch Government.
The BSPA certification enables broader engagement with Dutch agencies seeking secure workplace software solutions. While the certification is specific to public administrations, it also provides private entities with independent validation of Spacewell’s security standards.
