HR Specialist

We are currently looking to recruit an HR Specialist for our office in Antwerp, Belgium. If you would like to be part of Spacewell’s growth through its continuously expanding and improving workforce, then this might be the new challenge you are looking for.

YOUR ROLE: you can make an impact

You will play a key role in our Human Resources team to expand our footprint and continue our successful growth. You will be part of our international HR team, focusing on our employees and processes in our Belgium office. This is a unique opportunity to further develop key organisational, communication & recruitment skills, including finding new, suitable candidates, caring for current staff, and assisting the outflow of employees.

Through both training & coaching from seasoned professionals and on the job experience, you will learn how to successfully aid and drive our expansion through always looking for new solutions, making sure that communication between staff and management is clear and seamless, and that our employees feel heard and cared for.

You will be a part of an international HR team where you will have the chance to influence with your great ideas not only the Belgium office but Spacewell as a whole.

The key responsibilities

  • Shortlisting candidates and evaluating their resumes;
  • Organising and conducting job interviews;
  • Negotiating terms of employment;
  • Assisting the onboarding process;
  • Maintaining personnel records;
  • Preparing payroll;
  • Developing and implementing policies and processes.


To be successful in this role you have general experience in the field of HR, a relevant education is a plus.

You have prior training in recruitment and are fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of French is a plus.

You also have a high comfort level with changes and improvements, delegating and setting priorities as a lot of ad-hoc projects may come up on top of your day-to-day responsibilities. You are proactive and stand with both feet on the ground, but are able to manage quick changes and are able to quickly adapt to changes and remain flexible in a fast-paced environment. You show an interest in facility/real estate/workplace management.

In this position you will mainly work from our office in Antwerp, but working from home is also a possibility.
