Antwerp, May 15, 2019 – Building technology and consulting firm Spacewell released a new service app, Work Assistant for cleaning, which is a mobile touchpoint of its Cobundu smart building platform. Work Assistant supports service providers to deliver activity-based services, based on live IoT-data. Work orders can be created in a variety of ways, for example, through sensor triggers, user feedback, help desk tickets, and service scheduling.

Spacewell’s Work Assistant for cleaningapp offers clear benefits whether or not it receives data from the IoT. However, it realizes its full potential when smart building technology measures which parts of the building are in (frequent) use and which are less important for end-user satisfaction. Cleaning operatives can then target their efforts where it matters most.
The Spacewell team developed the smart service app for and with cleaners and leading service providers. The release is timely, as it responds to high demand from the service industry for technology solutions that enable a more agile, flexible and sophisticated way of servicing buildings and their occupants.
